The Lords of Summer is the fifth campaign in the Revenant saga. It also marks to beginning of Act II of the story as a whole.

All characters are fully playable, but the majority of the mission is to be diplomatic and political. Combat isn't as common, though is easy to find when requested, and the campaign serves as a political puzzle more than a collection of missions.

Synopsis[]

Echo is imprisoned, Pandora's Box is safely inactive and the Conflagration is over. And yet, the galaxy-spanning consciousness known as the Revenant draws closer and closer to Barvos. With no solution in sight, more drastic and dangerous methods may have to be considered with whatever time the planet may have.

More immediately, however, multiple threats arise from the ashes of the recent war. Amun-Seth is thrown into political turmoil in the aftermath of Echo's actions. New political powers seek to reform the nation, potentially robbing the Spectres of their essential power. Former followers of Echo fight amongst themselves to fill the new power vacuum left in Echo's absence as the species is thrown into a power struggle. Most worrying of all, the former Cult of the Machine God reforms as a new sect of seemingly peaceful fanatics, who call themselves the Lords of Summer - their goals are mystery.

Whilst the people consume themselves in a bid to fill the empty gap left the Conflagration's wake, Echo's powerless position slowly seems to become anything but. Somehow, his wrath remains as deadly and threatening inside his cell as it was outside...
